Rep. Zeldin: Israel has an inherent right of self-defense

PATCHOGUE, NY - Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus and one of two Jewish Republicans in Congress, just issued the following statement in response to escalating tensions between Israel and its hostile neighbors:

“Israel has an inherent right of self-defense and is constantly forced to endure barrages of rocket attacks and other terror threats from hostile neighbors. Israel’s Iron Dome defense system isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. The United States must continue standing shoulder to shoulder with our great ally and beacon of light and freedom in the Middle East.”
