Colonial Park Gardens’ annual Rose Day Festival celebrates peak bloom of America’s favorite flower- the rose. Located in the heart of the park, the Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden displays thousands of roses of many varieties, with both modern and historic significance. Enjoy the day with a stroll through the gardens, a picnic on the lawn, activities for kids, and live music provided by three amazing bands. Rose plants, houseplants, local honey, henna tattoos, and handmade artisan crafts will also be for sale. Gardeners and volunteers will be on hand to answer your garden questions. Admission is free, and we welcome visitors of all ages. Hope to see you there!
