I will be out of the office from October 26th through early next year as a result of hip replacement surgery. I am so sorry that I will be missing some very important events at the end of this year, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone as soon as possible.

Awards will be presented at the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce A Night of Stars to be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at The Bridges Golf Club, 9000 S. Gale Ridge Road (off Bollinger Canyon Road) in San Ramon. The awards event will begin with networking at 5:30pm, and dinner will begin at 6:00pm. The evening will end before 9:00pm.

October 8-9!
The Run for Education is a tradition in the San Ramon Valley spanning 39 years and is the primary fundraising activity for the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF), a non-profit organization that supports and promotes education in partnership with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. The only event in the San Ramon Valley that includes participants, volunteers and spectators from all 36 San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) schools, representing the communities of Alamo, Danville and San Ramon, the Run for Education is also the largest run that supports education in Northern California.
City Manager Joe Gorton Announces Retirement
San Ramon City Manager Joe Gorton has announced that he will retire as City Manager in January 2023, at a date to be determined. For Gorton, January will mark six years of service as City Manager, more than 16 years with the City of San Ramon, and a total of 35 years of public service.
