Stick around after our Graeter's Easter Egg Hunt, for a special Earth Day Activity. This week, enjoy spring-related crafts and art with Cincinnati Parks' Explore Nature Program.

Saturday, April 11:

Adult Activity: Apartment Gardens
Are you interested in gardening but lack a yard? There are plenty of plants you can grow plants in containers…on a roof, balcony, stoop or even indoors. Learn the basics of keeping container plantings healthy and fresh throughout the seasons with the Civic Garden Center. Participants will have the opportunity to take home free seeds!

Kids Activity: Hydroponics 101
Make starter plants and seed bombs with Imago.

Saturday, April 18:

Kids Activity: River Messengers
Did you know we can evaluate the health of the Ohio River by looking at populations of fish and aquatic invertebrates? Get up close with some amazing critters that inhabit our river and learn what they can tell us about water quality through this engaging program with the Ohio Foundation for River Education!

Kids Activity: Hydroponics 101
Learn how to build your own personal hydroponic system with the help of a two-liter bottle and Worms Way! Please Note: Supplies are limited. Participants are encouraged to bring their own two liter bottle for the activity.
