Our new four-part series with History Colorado continues this week with LA BAMBA! This film will also be followed by a post-film discussion with actor, musician, composer, and activist, Daniel Valdez, moderated by Tony Garcia, Executive Artistic Director, Su Teatro.

This series strives to bridge the themes found in each film, including mining, Chicano arts, Colorado lore, and environmentalism, with the relevant themes present in our state, despite the majority of the films not being set in Colorado.

This screening is sponsored by Su Teatro and Cine Fe.
