Sky's the Limit Creative Arts Summer Camp for Medically-Involved Kids and Teens at Wanaque Academic Center

Sky's the Limit is a free creative arts summer day camp specially designed for medically-involved kids and teens ages 5-16, who have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer or other pediatric illnesses. The program focuses on providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for kids and teens to create and connect through the arts. Daily activities include: Art, Music, Dance, Poetry, Theatre, Songwriting, Photography, Culinary, and Creative Writing, as well as self-care through relaxation/meditation. All participants must receive medical clearance and must be registered prior to July 15.

Sky's the Limit is a FREE creative arts summer camp for medically-involved kids and teens ages 5-16. We will have daily sessions in art, music, dance, poetry, theater, photography, culinary arts, and creative writing, as well as self-care and relaxation/meditation. The activities are designed from a creative arts therapies approach to creating, expressing, connecting, and having fun. We will also have a nurse on site with us throughout the duration of the program.

When: Monday - Thursday July 15-18, 2019 from 9am-4pm.
Thursday 7/18 will be an extended day (until 8pm) as we invite the families to attend a performance, "art gallery" walk, and post-performance reception.
