Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a reality TV show? Your chance is coming up at the premiere of the first episode and the shooting of the final scene of that episode at The Ridgefield Playhouse! The film crew and cast will be there to shoot the final scene the very same night you watch the series pilot, in the Playhouse theater, of what promises to be the latest hit reality TV show called Deer Hill Avenue.
                   
The scenario goes like this:  On an oak shaded street in a Connecticut suburb (greater Danbury), we meet Kirk Rundhaug and his band of merry house-flippers -- an exciting, hilarious new talent pool. This band of house flippers includes people who are funny, flawed, and likeable, each with his/her own agenda. Deer Hill Avenue, which features Kirk Rundhaug and his family. Celebrity real estate broker Kirk Rundhaug has been featured in NYDailyNews.com has appeared on HGTV's Selling New York and has been mentioned on CBS's Money Watch. Starring opposite Kirk is WRKI's (i95) morning show host Lou Milano. It's an unprecedented chance to be discovered by the casting department who is looking for talent to appear in future episodes!
                         
The cast includes Kirk Rundhaug, Clair Rundhaug, Sophie Rundhaug, Grace Rundhaug, Lou Milano, Mike Bonasera, Jared Shahid, Julie Ryan, Indiana Wright, Steve Katz and Elsa Zucker. Executive Producers are Kirk Rundhaug, John Balis and Kevin Burns with producers Brean Cunningham and Michelle Moriarity.
                     
The evening will unfold as follows:  6:00 p.m. Reception in lobby; 7:00 p.m. Cast arrives for photo shoot (will be filmed); 7:45 p.m. Comedy with Tom Briscoe (will be filmed); 8:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Screening of Deer Hill Avenue, episodes 1-3. Tom Briscoe is a national touring comedian who is heard on XM Radio and seen on The Comedy Channel in Canada. Tom recently appeared at The Boston Comedy Festival and won The Times Herald Record "Best Comedian" award. Tom launched a One-Man Show So…I Got Fired From THAT Job and regularly performs in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and on cruise ships worldwide.
                   
All proceeds from this event will benefit The Ridgefield Playhouse, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit performing arts center whose mission is to serve the Ridgefield community and neighboring environs by fostering an appreciation for the arts through enrichment and entertainment programs including movies, musical performances, theater and other performing art forms at a price and with a content accessible to a broad cross-section of the public.  This event is part of HamletHub's "A Whole New You Series" with media sponsor 95.1fm The Home of Rock 'n' Roll.
