BIRD WALK

Calling all birders!

Juneau Audubon Society will lead a guided walk on SEALT conservation land, highlighting seasonal species of birds around Sunny Point and in the Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge, a globally-recognized Important Bird Area.

When: Saturday, June 24
8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

HEART OF THE WETLANDS WALK

Join us on an adventure on Saturday, July 15th
Join Juneau’s favorite naturalists, Richard Carstensen and Steve Merli of Discovery Southeast, and the SEALT team for a muddy, bog-filled, and fun walk through one of SEALT’s hidden gems in the heart
of the Mendenhall Wetlands.

When: Saturday, July 15, 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Where: Meet at Overstreet Park to catch the shuttle to the wetlands
