Finger Lakes Opera launches the 10th anniversary celebration with six live programs to be performed this summer throughout the Finger Lakes region. The festival of programs begins next Sunday, with the first of two unique recitals featuring the 2022 Tomita Young Artists, scheduled for July 17 and 24 @ 3 p.m. in Hatch Recital Hall. In addition, FLO has a smorgasbord of programming, highlighted below: 

Summer Scenes – FLO presents an evening of good food, great drink, and divine singing under the stars featuring the 2022 Tomita Young Artists. July 26 @ 7 p.m., Lincoln Hill Farms.

An Evening with Cree – returning mainstage star Cree Carrico presents a one-woman show celebrating the giants of musical theater, including Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, and more. July 30 @ 7 p.m., Fort Hill Performing Arts Center.

Così fan tutte – Mozart’s fanciful comedy will be presented as a one-act pastiche featuring the 2022 Tomita Young Artists. August 5 @ 7 p.m., Vanden Brul Pavilion at the Memorial Art Gallery.

10-year Anniversary Events – kicking off FLO’s 10th anniversary will be a spectacular concert featuring four celebrated mainstage stars, the 2022 Tomita Young Artists, and the FLO orchestra - all under the baton of FLO founder and artistic director Gerard Floriano. Following this concert will be a champagne reception where you can toast FLO’s first decade. August 7 @ 3 p.m., Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
