Mei-Ann Chen Renews Contract with SSO

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to share that internationally-acclaimed conductor Mei-Ann Chen will continue as our Artistic Advisor for the 2025-26 season! 

Known for her dynamic presence on the podium and her visionary programming, Maestra Chen will once again shape the artistic direction of our Orchestra—curating programs, selecting guest artists, and conducting two standout performances this season: Opening Night: "A Night in Italy" on October 11, 2025 and “Mendelssohn, Gershwin, & A Woman’s Voice” in March 2026. 

Chen’s extraordinary leadership and artistry have already left an inspiring mark on the SSO, and we’re delighted to continue this exciting journey with her at the helm.
