From: Temple Israel - Alameda

A night of comedy called "You're Funny, But You Don't Look Jewish," comes to Temple Israel in Alameda on Saturday, March 5, at 8 pm with the doors opening at 7:30.  This benefit show features four stand-up comedians - Mike Capozzola, Gina Gold, Joe Nguyen & Samson Koletkar - who have been selling out shows across the U.S. and Canada.  Price is $25 and is adults-only.  The comedians share their experiences of being "undercover" members of the tribe.

Arrive when doors open before it sells out, find the "perfect" seat, socialize and partake in the raffle. There will be a reception with comedians after the performance. Tickets may be purchased during busines hours in the temple's office, at the door and online at BrownPaperTickets. More info on the Temple Israel Alameda Facebook page.

Temple Israel is located at 3183 Mecartney Road.  Free parking in front; enter lot through the Harbor Bay Landing.  For more information visit
