The Friends of Borden Community Park is delighted to announce that is the new home of the iconic Star Valley Strawberry Festival! The annual Strawberry Festival has been a tradition in the beautiful region of Star Valley, Indiana for over 40 years. After pandemic restrictions forced the closure of the event at St. John's Catholic Church in recent years, Borden Community Park is thrilled to be the new home for this incredible event. Created to bring the family together to enjoy the day and support the beautiful community of Star Valley, at the festival you can enjoy a variety of foods that include strawberry-themed drinks and desserts, especially the world-famous famous "Build Your Own Strawberry Shortcake Bar."

We're celebrating the festival's new home at Borden Community Park with an assortment of all-day fun and entertainment, culminating with an evening performance by musical legends The Monarchs! You'll also enjoy live music all day while you peruse the craft booths, play classic festival games and BINGO, sip a refreshing strawberry smoothie and let the kids play on the assortment of bounce houses, and visit the petting zoo! It happens every year on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and it's one event that you don't want to miss!
