Staten Island Artists are you ready to receive funding for your creative projects? Our Fall project grants cycle has officially kicked off!The applicant portal for Fall Grants is now live.

Through this competitive process, individual artists, art collectives, and small-budget non-profit organizations are eligible to receive funding for cultural activities made available through the generosity of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Staten Island Arts’ grant funding is available for artists who are both Staten Island residents and creating projects on Staten Island during the year grants are issued.

Our team here at Staten Island Arts is dedicated to supporting applicants throughout the entire process! Some of the first ways to get started in preparing your application are to:

1. Review all information on our Grants page
2. Determine which grant you should apply for
3. RSVP for an information session

First-time applicants are required to attend an application information session.

We encourage anyone who has not applied recently (over 2 years) to attend as well. At the session, you will learn about our online application system, and we will review the entire application process.

Registration for Info Sessions are now live on our Events page and Eventbrite. Most sessions take place virtually and we have 2 in-person
sessions available.

What is the difference between Regrants Info Sessions and GrantsLab?

GrantsLab prepares you on how to write a successful grant proposal. We will cover the important elements of a grant including how to write, how to prep a budget and how to come up with a project idea.
