The variety of creation is one of the great strengths of Seagrove. We start with variations of the same material: clay. But the wide variety of outcomes is incredible!

Take a trip through our lovely country side and explore the area that is home
to some of North Carolina’s greatest potters. Stop by the studios and see the behind the scenes workings of what it takes to create such unique ceramic works of art.

Eck McCanless Pottery 12th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, July 15th, 10-5

Eck McCanless Pottery will be celebrating their 12th Anniversary with this new limited-edition color. Roughly 200 Plum Purple pots in all sizes and shapes. Plum Purple jewelry will also be available. Eck is demonstrating on the covered deck. Online sales begin next week.

Paint Your Own Penguin Egg Party

Decorate your own Penguin Egg Baby with Bonnie Burns Red Hare Pottery and Alexa Modderno at Seagrove Stoneware Gallery. Sign up in advance required. Saturday, July 15, 2023. Two sessions 1st 10 - 12pm (Limit 5) and 2nd session 2-4pm (Limit 5). ?It will soon be winter, and the penguins are hatching. The Triangle Studio is hosting demonstrations in clay
the first three weekends of Stepping Into the Craft.

Kate Waltman makes precisely carved art-deco flower vases and will be demonstrating the process. Join us this Saturday to learn more about the process of clay and get to know the artists.

Free and open to the public.
