Welcome to the 38th Annual Sunshine Festival July 4th Race! This is a USTAF Certified 5k route.

The 5k race winds through the beautiful live oak and Spanish moss-lined streets of St. Simons Island at 7:00 AM!

The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held immediately following the 5K at 8:00 AM. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start and finish at the same location as the 5k.

Golden Isles Track Club uses the proceeds of this event to support running-related causes in our community, including Girls on the Run; local high school track and cross country teams; water fountains in local parks; and local projects that develop and maintain walking, running, and cycling paths in Glynn County.

Fees include a high-quality short-sleeve T-shirt (youth and adult sizes) or Tank Top (adult sizes). Only participants registered by June 10th are guaranteed a shirt.

Awards: Overall, Masters (40-49), Grand Masters (50-59), Senior Grand Masters (60 & over), and top 3 male and female runners in each age group. Age groups - 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
