Billionaire-Backed Super PAC Pours Millions into Pennsylvania Senate Race to Advance Their Own Interests

Hedge Fund CEO Ken Griffin Poured $10 Million Into the Super PAC

PENNSYLVANIA — On May 8th, a super PAC funded by the wealthiest Wall Street donors who want to lower their own taxes and strip Social Security and Medicare launched a multi-million dollar ad campaign to support David McCormick. 

These billionaires are supporting McCormick’s agenda of ensuring President Trump’s corporate tax giveaway is permanent and threatening Social Security and Medicare

Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson TaNisha Cameron issued the following statement:

“Out-of-state billionaires are pouring millions of dollars into the Pennsylvania Senate race to prop up one of their own, David McCormick, a hedge fund executive who wants to lower corporate taxes for the wealthiest Americans and threaten Social Security and Medicare. Pennsylvanians won’t be fooled by their efforts to buy this Senate seat to advance their own interest.”
