2023 Physician Excellence Award

Pullman Regional Hospital has named Emergency Medicine Physician Dr. Garrett Luettgen the 2023 Physician Excellence Award winner!

Luettgen has worked at Pullman Regional Hospital for two years as an Emergency Medicine Physician in the Emergency Department. He is a member of Pullman Regional’s Emergency Medicine Committee, Trauma Committee, and the Reliability Management Team. He was nominated by four of his colleagues for the annual honor of Physician Excellence and was selected from a pool of eight nominees.

Meet Dr. Garrett Luettgen
Dr. Luettgen enjoys the ‘first point of care’ aspect of emergency medicine and strives to instill trust quickly in both his patients and their families. He wants his patients to know that “emergency medicine is episodic, but we don’t stop thinking about our patients once we exit their room. We take them home with us at night. We think about them and care about them long after the point of care.”

In his free time, Dr. Luettgen enjoys running, cycling, skiing, and watching soccer games with his family.
