The Buckingham senior living community has named Jarred Richardson director of plant operations. The announcement was made by Julie Fenske, executive director of The Buckingham.

"Having worked for a sister community through our sponsor organization Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), Jarred brings quality work experience and strong values to the Buckingham team," said Fenske. "The Buckingham is in the middle of an expansion, so his expertise will be needed as our community grows."

Richardson has more than a decade of experience and has worked at sister community The Barrington of Carmel in Indiana as director of plant operations. His role involved supporting the day-to-day maintenance needs of the community as well as working with contractors and vendors, planning community improvement projects and training staff. At The Buckingham, Richardson will have additional responsibilities, including management of maintenance and landscaping for the Houston community.

"I'm excited to start this new career journey with another wonderful SQLC community," said Richardson. "With the great team that is already established at The Buckingham, I believe we will be able to take the community to the next level."

Originally from Garland, Texas, Richardson attended trade school for HVAC, where he acquired his EPA Universal HVAC license, HVAC Tech 1 certification and ICE Certification.
