The Buckingham Names Leanna Mouhot Director of Nursing

The Buckingham senior living community has named Leanna Mouhot Director of Nursing. The announcement was made by Julie Fenske, Executive Director of The Buckingham. Mouhot was promoted from her previous position of Associate Executive Director at The Buckingham and has been with the community since 2012. In her new role, Mouhot will be in charge of supervising the nursing staff and overseeing resident care, as well as administrative functions.


"We are looking forward to Leanna bringing her knowledge and expertise to The Buckingham," said Fenske. "We consider the health of our residents to be one of our top priorities and are confident that Leanna possesses the qualifications we were looking for to fill that vitally important position."


Mouhot brings more than a decade of nursing experience to The Buckingham. She has held a variety of positions over the years, including assistant director of nursing, wellness director and nurse liaison. Prior to joining The Buckingham, Mouhot was a floor nurse at Cypress Creek Hospital.


"I'm so excited to begin this new journey with the amazing staff and residents at The Buckingham," said Mouhot. "The Buckingham has an outstanding reputation within the Houston community, and I look forward to joining a team whose passion for helping people is similar to mine."
