Six Months Ago, Jay Chen Was Exposed for Wanting to Double Taxes and Deleting Web Sites

It’s been nearly six months since Jay Chen was exposed for supporting a plan to double taxes on Californians after deleting any mention of it via his old web site, and Chen still refuses to explain to voters why in the midst of record inflation and gas prices he would support higher taxes.

“Jay Chen might believe he’s deleted his way into not explaining to Southern California families why he supports doubling their taxes via Bernie Sanders’ single-payer health care plan, but this campaign will never let the issue go until he owns up to the voters,” said Steel Campaign Spokesperson Lance Trover.

The nonpartisan Tax Foundation says Chen’s plan will double taxes on all California households.
