The City of Huntsville has partnered with Library Systems and Services (LS&S)

The City of Huntsville has partnered with Library Systems and Services (LS&S) to provide library assistance.

The City of Huntsville has partnered with Library Systems and Services (LS&S) to enhance the operation of the Huntsville Public Library and the services it provides to the Huntsville community.  LS&S will provide day-to-day library operations with a focus on resource and service optimization.  LS&S has more than four decades of experience optimizing public libraries and extensive library operation expertise and resources.  LS&S will take the time to understand the needs of the Huntsville community by starting a strategic planning process to identify goals and strategies that will result in improved services.  The Huntsville Public Library and all its assets remain the property of the City, from the building, the books, digital material, the furniture, local archives, and technology.   The library policies and direction will be controlled locally in accordance with policies and procedures adopted by the City.  Together, the City of Huntsville and LS&S will focus on library best practices and service excellence for the Huntsville community.  LS&S will begin managing the day-to-day library operations effective January 30, 2023.
