Get Involved in an Important Community Science Project

The Diamondback Terrapin is a species of special concern in the state of Connecticut. One of the greatest threats to turtles, including the diamondback terrapin, is road mortality.

We're looking for Volunteers for our Terrapin Tracking Team to help monitor coastal roadways for terrapin mortalities this spring and summer. Join us for a virtual training session on March 28 to learn all about data collection and protocols.

Calling All Future Educators ... Intern with Us!

The Maritime Aquarium education department provides inquiry-based, STEM-focused enrichment for learners of all ages and backgrounds. This is accomplished through a variety of programs with school groups, interactions with guests at Aquarium exhibits, our summer camp program, and programming aboard our research vessel.

We're now accepting applications for our Early Elementary and Education Internships! These programs will help college students currently enrolled in relevant programs gain valuable experience in the field of education.
