We are offering all teachers – plus one guest – free admission during "Teacher Appreciation Weekend" this Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22!
This weekend will give you the opportunity to preview our nationally-recognized education programs – which have won five national awards in the last seven years! Plus, you can chat with our educators to learn how the Aquarium can be a resource for your class. You and your guest will also have the chance to see a free 4D movie in our theater.
Pre-register by midnight tonight, January 19 to receive a free coffee, hot chocolate, soda, or water from the Sound Bites Cafe!
This offer is available for all teachers - including homeschool - with valid employee ID or documentation.
Follow Mumble the dancing penguin in “Happy Feet 4D Experience,” playing in our state-of-the-art 4D Theater!
This 13-minute film – based on Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ Academy Award®-winning film “Happy Feet” – brings a young penguin’s adventure to life and includes in-theater effects such as snow, wind, bubbles, scents and more.
Please note: our Shark & Ray Touch Pool will be temporarily closed Monday, January 23 - Thursday, January 26 as we work to improve the experience.

Imagine falling asleep as jellies float next to you and sharks prowl just on the other side of the glass! That’s what you’ll experience when you book a group sleepover at the Aquarium.
Celebrate your child's special day with our birthday party packages that allow you to create a customized experience with options including animal encounters, a 4D film, sundae bars and more.
Grab your binoculars and join us Saturday, January 28, or Sunday, January 29 as we seek out animals spending the winter in Long Island Sound including harbor seals, gray seals, buffleheads, mergansers, long-tailed ducks, and red-throated loons.
During these two-hour cruises, Aquarium educators will be on hand to identify these species and discuss their natural histories.
