August Programs for Kids and Families!

Join us this summer at the Mystic & Noank Library for Summer Reading. Our free programs are designed  to promote educational enrichment and to encourage readers of all ages. This year's theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path, and features programs for kids & families, and teens that you can find on the Library's website. Arts and Crafts: Textile Fun Workshop for Kids!

August 1 at 10:30 AM

Learn how to create fabric treasures to keep and give away! We will sew felt heart plushies and then assemble no sew scented sachets. For ages 8 and up (7 years old with adult supervision).

Workshop for Tweens & Teens: Watercolor Landscape

August 1 at 2 PM

Using reclaimed wood we will design watercolor landscapes. Following the grain of wood (a texture seen in a cut surface) helps create mountains, woodland and ocean views.

Cool-ology presents Nature Crafts, A Workshop for Kids!

Join Food Explorers for an in-person baking class to make key lime pie cups! Ages 7 and up!

Welcome to our Chess Club for kids grade 3 and up!  Children should know how the chess pieces move before their first visit. We teach chess strategy, chess sportsmanship, and organize games.

Outdoor Storytime on the Library Lawn!

Join us for an in-person, outdoor storytime on the Library lawn! Bring a picnic blanket, and your favorite stuffed animal, and listen to stories! Best for ages 2 - 5.

Food Explorers In Person Baking Workshop for Kids!

The Mystic & Noank Library is open to all patrons! Face masks are encouraged for all patrons regardless of vaccination status. Patron computers are available first come first served.

Our operating hours for these services are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday and Friday, and Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
