December 8, 2023

Santa will arrive to assist the Thornton Mayor and City Council Members with flipping the switch to turn on the Village's holiday lights.

-Ice-skating on the Village pond - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (for minimal fee)

-Holiday Movie

-Thornton Community Chorus - 7 p.m.

-Ice-carving demonstration

-North Pole Nibbles food vendors

-Heated Beer Garden

-Lighted Maze

Santa's Visitation Schedule
Be sure to stop by Santa's house to see the "jolly man in red!" Santa Claus will be waiting to hear all boys' and girls' Christmas wishes and Christmas lists.
Numbers will be handed out one half-hour prior to each visitation time period. This number will give you a time to come take your place in line,
allowing you time to enjoy the festival instead of standing in line.

Don't forget your camera as photo services will no longer be available. Please see visitation schedule below.

Santa's line will be cut-off early in order to adhere to the closing time.

Friday: 6:45-9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m -1 p.m, 1-5 pm , 6.00 - 8:30 pm
Sunday:5-8.30 p.m.

North Pole Nibblers
Vendors will be selling snacks and meal items, including hot chocolate, hot cider, kettle corn, pizza, sandwiches and more all three days of the festival

Ice-Carving Demonstrations
Professional ice-carving demonstrations will be provided throughout the weekend by members of “Dazzling Ice.” The sculptors will be completing a frozen surprise that will provide a fun holiday photo opportunity. Don’t forget to bring your cameras!  

Village Ice-Skating Pond
The ice-skating pond will be open throughout the course of the event, so come on down and give this fun activity a try! The rink requires the use of ice skates, which will be available at the skate shack, or you may bring your own. The fee for ice skating will be $2 for children (12 and under) and seniors (60 and over) and $3 for those 13-59 years old.

Sensory-Friendly Santa Visits

5-7:30 pm Active Adult Center 11181 Colorado Blvd.
This event is intended for families who have difficulty visiting Santa due to a disability or diverse sensory, physical or behavioral needs.
Space is limited. Make your reservation online beginning November 18 at goCOT.net/AIR and select Sensory Friendly Santa.

Holiday Drone Show
8 p.m Santa's Village
Thornton's first holiday drone show choreographed to holiday music.

Mini-train rides 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Ice-skating on the Village Pond  10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (for minimal fee)

55+ Treasure & Bake Sale Fundraiser

Before heading to WinterFest, bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors to enjoy breakfast with Santa.
Breakfast will include pancakes, ham, eggs, orange juice and coffee. The breakfast will cost $6 for ages 13-61 and $4 for ages 0-12 and 62+.
Photos with Santa taken with your personal device are encouraged. Sponsored by the 55+ Organization.

During the day on Saturday, the Event Tent will magically transform into the Holiday Marketplace featuring a variety of products perfect for your holiday gift-giving needs.
