June 18 Arlington Reservoir Grand Opening
Music, food, and games to celebrate the newly renovated Res.

Join Arlington Parks and Recreation Commission, Town and state officials for the grand opening of the newly renovated Arlington Reservoir on Saturday, June 18th. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and will have music, food, and games, with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. Event is free. June 14 Mass Ave/Appleton Street Safety & Accessibility Corridor Project
The Town is hosting the first public meeting of the Mass Ave/Appleton Street Safety & Accessibility Corridor Project on June 14, 7PM, in-person in the Main Room of the Arlington Community Center at 27 Maple Street. The Town's consultant, Stantec Consulting Services, will present the project and new information gathered to assess the design of permanent improvements to the Mass Ave corridor between Richardson Ave and Quinn Road. The purpose of the meeting is to collect public feedback on the goals and priorities for the project as it moves through the design phase to create a safer, more accessible Mass Ave. All are welcome to attend. Add to your iCalendar.

May 26 Veteran Lecture
Capt. Bye will be speaking about her military career, challenges.
Capt. Bye will speak about her military service, various challenges that she faced, and how she overcame challenges to achieve her goal as a combat pilot. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

May 30 Memorial Day Ceremony
Join Arlington's Veterans Services Director, Jeff Chunglo and Town and state officials in paying tribute to our fallen veterans this Memorial Day. For the first time in two years we will be able to come together as a community to honor our veterans. The ceremony will be held in the Town Hall auditorium and will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be two guest speakers this year: Navy CAPT(Ret) Eric Jabs and Air Force combat pilot Capt. Taylor Bye. ACMi will broadcast the ceremony on their Public channels (Comcast 22, RCN 614, Verizon 26). Add to your iCalendar.

Arlington Celebrates National Public Works Week

May 15-21 is National Public Works Week. And this week the Town of Arlington would like to celebrate the women and men of its Department of Public Works (DPW) for the work they do year-round and to also educate the public on this work.
