The Hanover Fire Department is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $10,451.60 through the Massachusetts Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant. These funds will allow us to purchase needed first in medical bags and equipment for our new engine which is due for delivery in the next couple of months. Thank you to Firefighter Jonathan Pelletier for managing this grant.

With this award, Hanover Fire has been able to secure over a half million dollars in grant funding and other reimbursements this year for the department and the Town of Hanover. These grant funds allow increased services to the Town of Hanover with no increase to the taxpayer-funded operating budget.
