Fall Walk Saturday, November 5, 2022

Harvard Conservation Commission’s Land Stewardship Subcommittee is leading a hike on Saturday, Nov. 5, meeting at 1:30 pm at the parking lot for the Holy Hill Conservation Area on South Shaker Road in Harvard.

Holy Hill is a special place where history speaks through the land, stones and trees and we can sense the presence of the Shaker community that lived off the land here in the early 1800’s. The natural history is also rich in this protected area of woods, wetlands and fields.

We will take the long way around for a walk of 2+ hours, with a convenient option to loop back for about half the distance. Moderate pace on uneven terrain. Drizzle/flurries ok; rain cancels. Please leave dogs home. Personal tick protection recommended.
