From: Town of Kingston

For the month of December, the Kingston Public Library will feature an exhibit of abstract art by local artist Rose Mamakos. Mamakos is a self-taught fluid artist from Kingston, Mass. who loves bright and vibrant colors and constructing movement in her paintings. Unlike the average artist, Mamakos' favorite tool is the catalyst wedge which assists in forming lines that float across the canvas. She is inspired by Callen Schaub who is known for his abstract work that is vivid with sweeping patterns.

For questions or inquiries, you can consult her through her website or via email. You can also find her on Instagram and YouTube under the name RoseM_Creations.

The exhibit will be on view in the Library's gallery throughout December. The Kingston Public Library is open Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays 10 to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10-8 p.m.
