Given the news of recent gun violence incidents across the country, and with the holidays being a difficult time for some, we wish to remind the community that free and confidential mental health resources are available.

The Town’s Mental Health Task Force has compiled a list of resources available that focus on:

Coping with holiday stress
Grief and loss
Parenting
Peer support

With one of the recent acts of gun violence happening at an LGBTQ nightclub, someone you know may be having a difficult time processing what happened and/or may not feel safe. We have a number of LGBTQ-specific resources to help:

LGBTQ+ State & Local Resources

LGBTQ+ Suicide Prevention Resources

The Human Services Department also has trained staff to support anyone in our community confidentially and free of charge. You can contact them via email, or by phone at 781-698-4840.
