Tonight marks the start of Old Lyme’s Midsummer Festival! Whether you love music, art, running/walking, crafts, food trucks, or dog shows, there is something for everyone to enjoy during this family-friendly event. To view the full list of activities, please click here.

During the festival you are welcome to join us at 10 AM on Saturday when we celebrate with a ribbon cutting the Lyme Academy of Fine Art's grand opening of de Gerenday's Fine Art Materials and Curiosities. This beautiful new shop is filled with vintage display cases, artist supplies, and so much more. Learn more about the opening here.

Stop by the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center (the former Bee + Thistle Inn) to enjoy the LOL Lions Club’s Classic Car Show. The Lions will also be grilling up lunch items.

Remember to join the Town Band tomorrow night at 7:30 PM on the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School grounds for a lively concert followed by fireworks in the same location around 9:15 PM. The Old Lyme Town Band will also be performing Thursday, July 14th at 7 PM at Sound View. To learn more about the Town Band, click here.

I hope you enjoy the Midsummer Festival. Enjoy your weekend.
