Manchester Art Association
MAA’s annual photography exhibit opened Friday, Oct 14 at Manchester Town Hall, 41 Center St. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, Jan 4.

Construction Alert
The Paving Portion of The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Project to Resurface Route 83 (Main Street and Oakland Street) Between Center Street and Tolland Turnpike began on October 9th and will take approximately two weeks to complete.
Friends & Family CPR ®

Community rescuers are a key part of the chain of survival for cardiac arrest victims. You CAN learn the skills needed to assist a friend, neighbor, or family member. This course covers child and adult CPR, as well as choking rescue. Optional “Stop The Bleed” ® training will be available after the CPR session is complete.
Please inquire at Town Hall, the Community Y, or another town recreation center if you need assistance with setting up a household account for online registration.

Dementia Friends
Monday, October 17th at 6:30 PM at Manchester Public Library.
This one-hour training helps participants learn five key messages about dementia and learn what it's like to live with dementia. This is a free program for adults.
No registration required.
Volunteers Needed!
The Manchester Memorial Day Parade Committee is seeking volunteer committee members to help in the planning and preparation of our annual Memorial Day Parade and related activities including the placement of American Flags in our town cemeteries and the Center Park Memorial Day
Ceremony which immediately follows the parade.
