Holiday Closing
Town Hall, the Lymes’ Senior Center, and the Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, October 10, in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.

Free Flu Shots
Saturday, October 22, 2022, for Lyme & Old Lyme residents 18 and over.
10 am – 1 pm at the LOL Middle School in a drive-through format. Free of charge!

November 8 is Election Day
Voting Information for the November 8, 2022, State Election & Regional School District No 18 Referendum can be found at this link.

Region 18 Bond Referendum Public Meetings
October 12 at 7 pm at Lyme School
October 13 at 4 pm at Lymes’ Senior Center
October 26 at 7 pm at Mile Creek School

Plant Sale
The Old Lyme Historical Society will be holding a plant sale on Saturday, October 8, from 9 am – 2 pm and Sunday, October 9, from 12 – 2 p.m. Visit them on the front yard of 55 Lyme Street for some amazing deals on fall plants.

LAST DAY! Shoreline Gateway Survey
Old Lyme residents (year-round and seasonal) and business owners are invited to take the survey on the “Shoreline Gateway” area: Shore Road from Otter Rock Road to Breen Avenue and Hartford Avenue. If you have not yet participated, today is the last day the survey will be open. Go to www.OldLymeSurvey.com until 11:59 p.m. Paper copies are available in the Selectman’s Office at Town Hall until the building closes at 4:00 p.m.

Reminder: Employment Opportunities
The Town of Old Lyme is currently hiring for two positions: Executive Assistant to the First Selectman (full time) and Human Resources Generalist (part time.) The deadline for submitting applications for both positions has been extended to October 12. More information is available on the Town’s website www.oldlyme-ct.gov.

Update on ARPA Grants
For those local businesses and non-profits that applied for an Economic Recovery Grant through the Town’s ARPA funding, expect to receive an email with further instructions next week.
