Public Safety Considerations:

Please be aware of the following and expect delays in entering the beach area. This is to ensure the safety of all. SAFETY is our main concern, and all bags will be searched upon entering the beach area. **Incidentals should be kept in a clear bag…RECOMMENDED**

-No bicycles, motorized scooters, skateboards, etc.

-No coolers

-No alcohol

-No firearms, weapons, sharp objects, or fireworks

-No backpacks

-No glass containers

-No cans

-No grilling, propane tanks, or open flames

-No smoking

-No drones

This is a short-term event, and we ask that you only bring what is necessary. We will do our best to make this the safest and most enjoyable we can! Please cooperate with us on this and enjoy the fireworks.

What is allowed:

-Snacks in a clear bag, not a backpack

-Sealed water bottles (open containers or unsealed containers subject to inspection)

-Equipment needed for medical care

-Towels and folding chairs - sunscreen containers (in a clear bag).

-Diapers and baby care items (in a clear bag)

ALL ALLOWED ITEMS ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO SEARCH

Parking Information

Parking available at the Sharon High School, Sharon Middle School, Cottage Street School, Walter Griffin Playground, and Deborah Sampson Park. Beach Street from Pond Street to Gunhouse Street will close around 3:30pm for the duration of the evening. Handicap parking allowed on this section of Beach Street at the main gate, please enter from Pond Street side. No parking allowed at the main beach or boat launch. Community Center will close around 3:30pm. Barricades and detours will be placed around the area of the lake shortly after 5pm.

Please be considerate when parking and do not block driveways, sidewalks, fire hydrants or park in the wrong direction!

The following streets will be partially or completely closed to parking:

Parking ON ONE SIDE ONLY on most of the streets surrounding the Memorial Park beach. All parking is directed in an outward facing direction, away from Memorial Park Beach.

Ames Court: LIMITED PARKING: One Side Only: Facing towards Ames St

THERE IS NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS FROM AMES COURT TO THE MAIN GATE** Due to new high school construction!

Pond St: One Side Only: Facing towards Sharon Center (no parking on Pond Street from the rotary to the High School)

Quincy Street: One Side Only: Facing towards Ames St.

Paul Revere Rd: One side Only: Facing East St.

Arboro Drive: One Side Only: Facing towards Mountain St

Bradford Ave: One Side Only: Facing East Chestnut St

Robin Rd: One Side Only: Facing Woodland Rd

Park Rd: One Side Only: Facing Dunbar St

Dunbar St: One Side Only: Facing South Main St

Woodland Rd: One Side Only: Facing Pond St

Harold St: One Side Only: Facing Ames St

Marie Ave: One Side Only: Facing Gertrude Ave/South Main St

Cedar Street: One side only: Facing East Foxboro St.

Cedar Park Rd: No Parking at All Either Side

Massapoag Lane: One Side Only: Facing East St

Gunhouse Street: One Side Only: Facing East Foxboro St and South Main St

Massapoag Ave: One Side Only (outbound parking only) Towards Easton

Massapoag Ave will eventually be closed near the Community Center so watch for detour signs

East St: One Side Only: Facing towards Bay Road

Other streets in the area will have limited or no parking, so please obey signage.
