Government and Politics

October 11, 2022

From: Town Of Tewksbury

The Town’s contractor will begin roadway microsurfacing on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 (weather permitting). Microsurfacing is a protective seal coat which extends the life of pavement. It is a thin, tough layer of asphalt emulsion blended with finely crushed stone for traction.

The following roads will be microsurfaced:

  • South Elizabeth Street
  • South Rhoda Street
  • South Amos Street
  • Charm Road
  • Strang Street
  • Patricia Road

Please be advised that roads will have limited access during this time and residents are advised to park all vehicles off the roadway to allow for access by work crews and equipment. Traffic Control Officers will be present to direct traffic for the duration of the work.

Thank you in advance for your patience during the work. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Town’s Project Manager, Arthur G. Markos, at 978-640-4440 x237 or by emailing [email protected].
