The Health Department is continuing to remind everyone to test for COVID-19 as needed.

Updated Isolation and Quarantine guidance recommends antigen and/or PCR testing if you've been exposed to COVID-19 or if you're experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Rapid, at-home antigen tests are easy to use and repeated testing improves accuracy.

At-home tests are readily available at local retailers and pharmacies. If you have health insurance, you can submit claims to have your insurance company reimburse the costs of up to eight at-home tests.

Please note: Friday, September 2 is the final day to order free at-home tests through the federal government.

Both antigen and PCR tests are also still offered at COVID-19 testing sites in Massachusetts. Full information on COVID-19 testing is available on the Massachusetts Department of Public Health website

Stay up to date on vaccines. Getting vaccinated for COVID-19 is your best defense against severe disease. Watch for information on upcoming local vaccine clinics.
