The Town Clerk's office is reminding residents to become familiar with revised legislative districts and voting precincts in preparation for the September 6, 2022 primary elections.

Updates to the Massachusetts legislative district boundaries were needed due to the increase in Wellesley's population. 2020 Federal Census numbers showed that our Town now has 29,550 residents. As a result, in 2021 the Massachusetts Legislature voted to approve new Congressional District lines.

Wellesley is now split between the 4th Congressional District (Precincts E and F), and the 5th Congressional District (Precincts A, B, C, D, G and H). Ballots for the September 6 primary reflect these revised Congressional Districts.

For the State Senate, Wellesley is consolidated into a single district, the Norfolk and Middlesex District.

These changes also required updates to Wellesley voting precincts which were approved by the Select Board late last year. Use this map to check your voting precinct locations.
