Learn about Wellesley's state-of-the-art Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF). 

Take a behind the scenes tour on Monday, October 17 at 4:00 p.m. to learn about our source-separated model, which produces high quality recyclable material with a very low contamination rate and is a successful source of revenue for the Town. 

Get the dirt on Wellesley's food waste program, which aims to keep household waste out of landfills by converting these scraps into electricity, heat, liquid fertilizer, bio-char/animal bedding, or ingredients for high grade compost.

The tour is part of a STEAM Speaker Series jointly sponsored by the Climate Action Committee, Wellesley Public Schools, and Sustainable Wellesley.
