Sunday Concert Series: A Musical Theatre Cabaret Sunday, July 10th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join us as musical theater performers from Naugatuck Valley Community College present a cornucopia of songs and scenes from the Broadway canon! Under the direction of Professor Gil Harel (piano), these singers will bring us into the worlds of beloved shows such as Hamilton, Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Registration is encouraged as seating is limited. 

Shut up & Write! Monday, July 11th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Welcome to SHUT UP & WRITE!, a new program where writers can get together for one hour of quiet time to work on any kind of writing they wish: fiction, poetry, songwriting, playwriting, resume, you name it! After the hour is up, you're welcome to stick around and share what you're working on, and others are welcome to give feedback. Join us!

The Facts Around Arthritis Tuesday, July 12th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Join David Martin, MD, a Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, for a one-hour presentation on The Facts Around Arthritis. During this program you will learn about living with arthritis, minimally invasive treatment options, latest technology plus Q&A with the expert. Register here.

Trivia Night! Wednesday, July 20th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Test your trivia knowledge! Gather your family, friends, or come solo, put on your thinking caps, and join us for a night of trivia. Compete to win bragging rights and prizes. This trivia is geared towards teens/adults challenge level, but all are welcome! Register here.

CHILDREN and TEENS

Chess Club Thursday, July 7th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All ages and skill levels are invited to play. Participants must bring their own chess boards. Registration is required each week.

Basics of Sewing for Teens Saturday July 9th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come join us as local artisan Theresa Dunlop teaches basic sewing techniques. Lose a button on your favorite sweater? Have a rip you don't want in your pants? Then this program is for you. This will be geared towards teens ages 12-17. Space is limited so registration is required.

FAIRCHILD-NICHOLS MEMORIAL

Drop-in Crafts Monday, July 13th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fun crafts to complete in the Library. All ages with parents.
