Tulsa Mayfest is dedicated to the promotion of knowledge and education of the arts and humanities, and to further ahha Tulsa's mission to keep Tulsa creative. The 2022 festival is May 6-8, located in Downtown Tulsa's Arts District and Historic Greenwood. Admission is free to the public.

The Gallery at Mayfest: The Gallery  at Mayfest is a new concept exhibition and an official element of the 2022 Tulsa Mayfest, Tulsa’s largest arts festival. Each work in the exhibition has been thoughtfully created by an artist currently working in the Tulsa community.

Fifty four local artists responded to ahha Tulsa’s open call seeking new and innovative works of art. Of these entries, an independent jury selected twenty works to be included in the exhibition. The artists not only represent a wide range of aesthetics and media; some are established artists, and others are showing their work in a gallery for the first time. Learn More here.

Youth Art Gallery: The original work you see in this exhibition was created in the past year by 180 Tulsa-area K-12 students attending a number of area schools and by homeschool students. Winners will be selected to receive cash prizes and one outstanding young artist will receive the PSO Mark of Excellence Award.

Artwork will be displayed in the first-floor GALLERY at ahha Tulsa from April 1st through May 22, 2022. Learn More here.

The Studio at Mayfest: Hands-on creativity for all Mayfest guests - not just kids!
The Studio at Mayfest invites visitors of all ages to think like artists through open-ended creative exploration and discovery. In this space, we encourage you to:
- Select your own materials from those provided and use your imagination to create a work of art. What you create is entirely up to you: the possibilities are endless.
- If you’d like help getting started, select a “creative challenge” to help spark your imagination.
- Please ask a staff member or volunteer if you need assistance. We’re here to help!

You will also find:

Face Painting Friday from 11:00-7:00, Saturday 11:00-6:00, and Sunday from 11:00-6:00.
Yoga activities by I AM Kids Tulsa on Friday at 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00, Saturday at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00.
Live painting by artist Matt Bearden on Sunday from 12:30-2:30
Special performances throughout the weekend.
