This week is your last chance to see the Spring 2022 exhibitions!

This Saturday, May 7th, is the last day you can see our amazing Spring 2022 exhibitions. Whether it's Ann Resnick's careers-spanning Chapter & Verse, the two immersive video installations from Finnish artist Eija-Liisa Ahtila (The Annunciation and The Bridge), or Annabel Daou's provocative sound installation, DECLARATION, which is off-site in WSU's Grace Memorial Chapel, you'll definitely want to catch these dynamic shows before they're gone! If you've already been by to see them--and know how spectacular they are--you'll also know they lend themselves nicely to repeated viewings. Museum gallery hours are Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Closed Sundays and University and Major Holidays. Admission is always freeClick here to learn more about directions and parking.

Summer 2022 Exhibition Opening Celebration is just around the corner!

Soon after our Spring 2022 exhibitions come down, we'll start installing our summer shows--and we have two exciting exhibitions lined up, both showcasing gems from our permanent collection. In the exhibition Reemergence and Reconnecting: A Youth Arts Council Takeover, Wichita-area high school students passionate about art curate a show from Ulrich collection pieces that resonated most with them. Similarly, the exhibition, Deep Dive: Selections from the Permanent Collection, features the staff choosing the pieces that are nearest and dearest to us. We'll kick off these summer shows with a big Summer Exhibition Opening Celebration from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th, and, of course, you'll hear more about that in the coming days.

Save the Date: Collection Study Center public opening is Saturday, June 4

We will have a public opening next month for our stunning Dr. Sam and Jacque Kouri Collection Study Center and Ulrich Student Lounge. The event will take place from 1-3 P.M. on Saturday, June 4th and is free and open to all. Come tour the space while staff members demonstrate how the Center is being used to make the Ulrich collection more accessible to both students and the general public. Light refreshments will be served. Save the date and be sure to join us for what promises to be an exciting opening!
