UScellular announces $19 million state investment, incl. over $32,000 to local Boys and Girls Club

UScellular invested more than $19 million in its Oregon network in 2023. This includes network upgrades and 5G modernizations that enhanced connectivity across the state and advanced the company’s ongoing 5G network evolution and expansion strategy.

UScellular also donated $32,300 to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, and the Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley received $21,000 worth of hot spots and service to help youth connect to the Internet as part of the company’s After School Access Project.

These investments helped us fulfill that mission and enhance our community,” said Sarah Pearson, area vice president and general manager for UScellular in the Northwest. “We are committed to providing essential connectivity and supporting our youth now and in the years to come.”
