"I am such a big fan of Sheriff Rhodes. He's done so many amazing things in Yavapai County, and I brag about his jail re-entry program ... That's what it's all about: Helping people to get out of that cycle of crime and, if they're mentally ill or addicted to drugs or alcohol, finding a way for them to get off of it. I like it so much that I want every county in Arizona to follow suit with what the sheriff has done."

"This is going to be the best state in the country to be a cop. We've got your backs. We will do everything we can. We will pass laws in this state to punish those cities that try to take away qualified immunity from our officers ... We will defund them if they try to defund the police. We've got to play hardball."

"We've got to ensure that every vote cast in the state has to produce an ID. You have to show that you're a citizen of the state and country. I put out a 10-point plan ... It's called the Voter Bill of Rights ... Not harder to vote, just harder to cheat."
