3 Trustee Spots on April Ballot
Three Village Trustee positions will be included on the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election ballot. All three positions are four-year terms.

Candidate nomination papers were available for circulation beginning on September 20. Completed petition packet may be filed beginning December 12, with packets due by December 19 at Village Hall, 290 Evergreen Drive.

Candidates for Village Trustee are encouraged to consult the Candidate Info: April 4, 2023 Election web post as well as the Village of Vernon Hills April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election Information document.

Note that in addition to Village Trustee positions, other local organizations will also have openings on the April 4 ballot. Consider serving your community by becoming a candidate. Learn more about requirements and the candidate process by contacting the Lake County Clerk's Office (which administers all county elections) or the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Illinois Online Voter Application – offers an easy method to register to vote; If you have moved, turned 18, become a citizen, changed your name or never registered before, you will need to register or update your registration. Registration is also available at early voting and Election Day polling sites
Early Voting Sites – available throughout the county
Voter Power for Registered Voters – allows you to check your registration status; outlines when and where you can vote
