Isn't it time we sat around the table as a community?
Volunteer to drive out darkness by adding your light to this conversation.
Join us for our Virtual Sunday Supper to help strengthen our community through an open, safe, and timely group discussion that will be part of our 2021 MLK Day of Service on Sunday, January 17.
Dr. King fought throughout his lifetime for his vision of a "Beloved Community." One where people of all races, faiths, and classes could live together in peace and harmony. That was his dream in 1963 and 58 years later it is on everyone to make this dream a reality where there is equity for all.
Sign up now to join your fellow neighbors
to help move us closer to this vision and be a part of our Sunday Supper live virtual experience. As a participant, you will have the chance to share your thoughts and perspective with those at your table during a moderator-led discussion.
And through the simple act of being there to listen and learn from one another, we have the opportunity to break down the barriers that separate us and to broaden our understanding of how issues and circumstances affect people in different ways (not to mention a chance to network with and meet amazing new community members).
As Dr. King said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate only love can do that." This is what breaking bread
around the table with perfect strangers and allowing yourself to see the world through their eyes in a moment of connection and clarity is all about. We can't wait to have you at our table. Bring your light. See you soon.
Sunday Supper registration is free and open to all families and individuals.
