It's our 34th season and we're back with FREE Shakespeare in the Park, serving up the same quality of excellence you've always enjoyed from us. Our mainstage plays this summer are the globe trotting romantic adventure Pericles, Prince of Tyre directed by Ken Holmes and, continuing our history cycle, the exciting and heroic Henry V directed by Vince Brady. For our Backyard Bard series this year we present the fan favorites Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth, both directed by Sarah Stillion.

So get us on your calendar and go see a play!

GreenStage Needs Volunteers!

If you are interested in helping GreenStage making our 2022 season a safe success for the audience. We have a some volunteer opportunities that can help with that.

The positions are:

- House Staff / Usher – You will be helping the House Manager by handing out programs, answering basic audience questions, and helping to collect donations after performances.
- Sound Assistant – You would be helping our Sound Technician to place microphones, set up speakers, run cable, and monitoring the soundboard during the performance. It sounds scarier than it is and there will be training provided.
- You can sign up for more than one position, just on different dates.

Summer Camps Are Back!

After a two year pandemic absence, our youth summer camps are back bigger and better than ever! More camps, more locations, all fun.

GreenStage’s educational programs support the values of successful learning and include summer shows for ages 5-16. Our theatre camps take each student on a personal journey through the world of Shakespeare. Their natural imaginations will be embraced and nurtured as their ability to focus and work as a team increases. All offerings focus on positive reinforcement and esteem building skills as our young artists explore Shakespeare’s mind-expanding concepts and beautiful world vision. Our instructors create supportive environments in the beauty of the Seattle area parks where we have been staging our professional shows since 1989. Each week-long camp ends with a FREE performance (picnic recommended) in the parks for family and friends.

Youth Summer Camps

Your contributions help us pay for the zillions of things that go into putting on more than forty performances in 20-plus parks around the Seattle area. From costumes and props to actors to admin costs and everything in between, we rely on your support to keep performing every year. If you are able, please consider a donation to pay it forward to your entire community who relies on our FREE performances every summer.

Thank you for your support!
