Houston, TX - On Nov 8th, Wesley Hunt won the General Election in TX-38, winning 64% of all early votes cast. Wesley Hunt released the following statement:

"Serving the people of Texas's 38th Congressional District will be the greatest honor of my life," said Wesley Hunt. The support our campaign received from every corner of the district has been overwhelming, and I am incredibly grateful to all my supporters for dedicating their time and resources to this extremely important cause.”

“Now the important work of saving our country begins. The top priority of the 118th Congress should be to restore our energy independence, bring down the rising inflation that is crushing American families, secure our southern border, and make our nation a safer place to live. The American people have spoken, and they have overwhelmingly rejected the Biden Administration’s agenda and one-party Democrat rule in Washington,” said Hunt.

“We live in the greatest country in the world, and she’s worth fighting for. Only in America could the great-great-grandson of a slave, graduate West Point, serve our country, and now call himself Congressman-Elect.

“To the people of Texas’ 38th Congressional District, thank you for putting your faith in me, I will not let you down. We have a lot to accomplish and I’m eager to get started. God Bless you, God Bless Texas, and God Bless the United States of America.”

Since launching his campaign last July, Wesley Hunt has raised nearly $6 million, knocked on over 200,000 doors, and received notable endorsements from President Donald Trump, TX-38 resident Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Tim Scott, and dozens of local elected officials and leaders, among others. After winning his General Election by 29%, Wesley Hunt has proven that he is a political force to be reckoned with.
