June Awards Approved
Crime Stoppers of Wichita-Sedgwick County has approved $2,700 in reward in rewards for tips that led to felony arrests during the month of June.

The Crime Stoppers board voted Monday to approve the amount, to be paid to anonymous tipsters for the information they provided that helped law enforcement solve felony cases including wanted fugitives, drug dealers, and car thieves. One tip received resulted in a drug dealer arrested with $53,000 worth of drugs. Another tip led to multiple arrests in a burglary
ring, and the recovery of $65,000 worth of stolen vehicles.

Since the inception of the Crime Stoppers program in 1980, anonymous tipsters have helped law enforcement make 3,978 arrests, clear 4,796 cases, apprehend 842 fugitives and recover more than 4 million dollars worth of stolen property in Sedgwick County!

Anyone with information regarding a crime that occurred in Sedgwick County is eligible to receive a reward by submitting a tip through Crime Stoppers by calling 316-267-2111 or online at www.stopcrime316.com.  Tipsters are always anonymous – Crime Stoppers will never ask someone to identify themselves.
