WINTER READING RETURNS TO THE GROTON PUBLIC LIBRARY

GROTON, Conn. - The Groton Public Library will be hosting its fifth annual Winter Reading Program in 2024! This year, adults, teens, and school-aged children are invited to delight in the joy of books during the winter season. Starting January 8, participants ages 5 and older can pick up a BINGO board in person or online via the Library’s website.

Keep track of the books you read and activities you complete in the corresponding square. Book titles may be used only once per square, and only one card per person. One BINGO earns a prize as well as an entry into the grand prize drawing. Each additional BINGO earns an entry into the drawing. Completed cards must be turned in by February 29 to be eligible. In addition, adult participants can turn in optional book reviews to earn entries into our weekly drawings. All prizes must be picked up in person.

Need book suggestions? Check out our displays in the Library or on the Libby App. Participants are also encouraged to share what they are reading on social media with the hashtag #gplwinterread2024. Happy reading!
