Winterfest is an annual one-day festival in Historic Uptown Yucaipa to kick off the holiday season! This year’s activities include Live Entertainment, a Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa’s Workshop, Kids’ Zone, Food & Merchandise vendors, a Beer & Wine Garden, and more

Santa's Workshop

Back by popular demand, Santa’s Workshop is a one-of-a-kind experience enjoyed by all! Enter the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC) and be greeted by Santa’s elves and check out Santa’s global tracking system as you enter the Theater.  You will have an opportunity to create your very own ornament or holiday-themed key chain. Next, you’ll enter Mrs. Claus’ kitchen where you will enjoy a cookie (or two!) and write a letter to Santa. After spending time with Mrs. Claus, she will introduce you to the big man. himself, SANTA CLAUS!  Santa will be available for family pictures and for you to hand him the letter you wrote personally.  But before leaving the workshop, be sure to grab your ornament or key chain and your photo to have on your Christmas tree at home!

Kids Zone

Come chill with us in the Kids’ Zone! We will have a variety of fun holiday-themed inflatable jumpers and slides, perfect for ages 10 & under.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

A HUGE part of our 2023 Winterfest is the Tree Lighting Ceremony! Santa will ride in on a fire engine to light the tree in Uptown Park while Active Church leads us in holiday music. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in Uptown Park with a time.

Shopping

Winterfest will feature a variety of historical Uptown storefront shops and businesses for you to explore. The following shops will be open during the festival. Support Small Businesses!

Beer & Wine Garden

There’s nothing better than a cold beer or glass of wine on a brisk festival day! The Beer & Wine Garden will be located next to the main YPAC stage in Uptown Park. Beer tickets can be purchased on-site only by adults 21 years of age or older (with valid ID). All alcohol sales and consumption are restricted to the designated beer garden and cannot be carried to all event attractions.
